Explore an array of different raku techniques, including a selection of raku glazes to be used alongside post-firing reduction, as well as options for naked raku, alcohol reduction, horse hair raku (BYOHS: bring your own horse hair*) and obvara, a.k.a. Baltic raku. Baltic raku is done by pulling pieces out of the kiln while they are still hot and dunking them quickly in the obvara mixture, which is made from water, flour, yeast, and sugar. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFinally, the pieces are quenched in water to seal the effect onto the surface.
