Kemper Throwing Stick TS1

Patterned from the Japanese egote, these versatile tools aid in shaping deep, wheel-thrown pieces with narrow forms or necks, such as bottles or vases.
The literal translation of egote is a wheel-throwing rib with a handle or a grip. Kemper Throwing Sticks are made from hardwood that has been polished to a satin finish for a comfortable feel in the hand. 

12½" long for reaching deep into the piece being worked on where inserting the hand is not possible.
