Although Raku has been a long tradition and a big part of Japanese ceramic culture spanning over 500 years, its origin can be traced back to the Korean Joseon Dynasty. Naked Raku uses slip application to reveal smoke effects. Kim YoungSoo prepares
pieces for participants to try his taping techniques for the raku firing. Prepared bisqueare will be available for all participants.
