About Sona Gevorkyan: Architect, Ceramic Artist
Sona Gevorkyan is an architect, educator, and artist with a focus on digital fabrication, ceramics, and visual AI-driven design. She is the founder of Sona Gevorkyan Architecture Office (SGAO) and a lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona. With experience in both professional practice and academia, her work explores the intersection of materiality, cultural identity, and emerging technologies in architecture and design.
She engages deeply with ceramic 3D printing and wheel throwing, experimenting with clay across different mediums to explore its material possibilities.
