Looking for a memorable way to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, treat your work group to a fun team-building activity, or get creative with your friends at our DTLA Arts District studio? This is the pottery class for you!
Select the number of participants and a date/time that works best for you and you'll be all set. We can accommodate up to (25) participants for our hand-building classes. After booking your event, please email classes@stilllifeceramics.com to confirm.
If your group is larger than 25 participants, if you don't see a date/time available that works for you or you are interested in an off-site private party, please inquire via this form: Book a Private Party
This class will be held at our new Downtown location! 588 Mateo St, Los Angeles, 90013
Learn how to make a small bowl, mug, dish, or small sculpture by hand, no experience necessary.
In this one-hour class, we'll teach you the basics of making hand-building and learn how to make mugs, dishes, or small sculptures. After class, pick a color for your piece; we'll fire and glaze it for you, and about three weeks later your finished piece will be ready to pick up. You're also welcome to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy after class if you'd like to hang out and mingle for 30 minutes while we tidy up.
Come see how fun and rewarding working with clay can be. This is a great way to try out pottery without committing to a full course, or as a fun activity to share with a friend.
Private hand-building classes are kid-friendly and we welcome ages 5+.
