Have you ever looked at a bag of clay and wondered where to start? T
Join us for this two-day workshop in DTLA to make with Maggie and learn how she conceptualizes, creates, and designs her ceramics. In this class, students will sketch and handbuild ceramics in the studio, and explore a range of decorative methods to bring personality and pattern to your pots. We’ll discuss layering oxides, glazes, washes, and underglaze on greenware and bisqueware throughout the weekend.
To celebrate the release of Maggie Boyd's new book, HOW TO MAKE A POT, we’re excited to be hosting this two-day workshop at our DTLA studio.
